  1. Honestly, you do us all such a great service, a real gift, in your postings. So THANK YOU!!!!!!

  2. I am so glad to run into your blog. I am doing Sustainable Food for the Globe, and we share many passions, including rescuing wasted food. Your blog is beautiful!

    • Hi Norma! I’m also very glad you found me – it gave me the chance to find you too! It’s true, we have many things in common and from now on we can always share with each other our new discoveries and thoughts. Hugs! xx

  4. That is just very good sense, too bad the West doesn’t see it that way.

    • Maybe because we have so much of everything. We do have so much and, at the same time, not everyone can have access to the “real food”, which, instead of being just food, is now called “organic”. On one side, all of that huge amount of empty food, with no good nutrition at all – cheap and easy – and lots of marketing. On the other side, the famous “organic” food. And we’re are all in the middle, feeling so confused and frustrated.

  6. Every day there is so much waste, then the echo of people not having enough nutrients in their bodies, or vitamin deficiencies; despite all this there’s silly things done by people who tend not to be realistic with their thoughts!

    • Yes, tons of food waste everyday. At the same time, we never had so much food available…but then, the “real food” now has a new name: organic. It used to be just food!

      • Ok. I’m with you!
What I don’t understand for example if you work in a fast food restaurant, cafe’, or other, food is left over, but you are told to bin it and there are homeless people who have not eaten for days!
The shape of food being unworthy is absurd. Anyway my friend I like what you do and the information in relation to these debates is good food too!(lol)

      • The food waste whole idea is changing – very, very slowly, but it’s a process. A positive one. You’re right, to throw good food in the garbage it’s an absurdity.

      • A friend of mine got sacked from KFC, for giving two homeless people chicken and chips which were going to be thrown away!
They called it theft. That is truly absurd!
