An animal ranch in New Mexico has gotten a little creative, and our food waste problem definitely needs creativity. Instead of letting tons of school lunches go to waste, they’re now going to feed farm animals with it.

  1. Good strategy indeed. My chickens as well as my compost bins insure that my garbage cans almost always remain empty. My neighbors tease me on how seldom I put trash out on the curb. Suckers.
