  1. I agree – buying preportioned packs of meat, fish and chicken just means making more than two portions at a time and freezing – I blanch vegetables and freeze too. About every four or five weeks I only spend about half the housekeeping and use up the food in the freezer – it saves money and nothing is wasted.
