The harmful effects of sugar are among the few things that most health experts agree on. Everyone knows that sugar is unhealthy and most health conscious people try to avoid it. Not surprisingly, all sorts of other sweeteners have become popular, both natural and artificial. One of those is called Agave nectar, a sweetener that is found in various “health foods.”

  1. Informative and interesting. I hadn’t heard about agave nectar. I don’t use sweeteners, and try to reduce my sugar intake. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Yes cause sugar is 50% fructose and 50% glucose. Fructose takes longer to process and ends up becoming extra fat deposits. Agave can 90% fructose and 10% glucose. 🙂
