  1. I must remember to always thoroughly wash the peels, rinds and stems . . especially the peels and rinds . . . and I find it much easier to put them in a blender first and add the puree to the food for which inclusion is intended.

    • True, John, it’s extremely important to thoroughly wash the peels, rinds and stems. Best yet if is all organic, of course. It has so many delicious ways that those peels can be used and it would help to reduce food waste.
